Sudan

Sudan Book Series is the flagship book series published in the United Kingdom since 2009 by the WASD in partnership with Sudan Knowledge. The series aims to provide a global perspective and understanding of all challenges and opportunities to achieve sustainable development in Sudan particularly on re-building Sudan after the war towards sustainable and inclusive peace and development. Sudan like much of the rest of the African countries has toyed with and abided by various approaches or strategies to transfer technology and achieve sustainable development without reaping any significant socio-economic benefits. Featuring case studies, ground-breaking research, and new conceptual approaches by international experts and high-level Diaspora from the public and private sectors across the world. This multi-disciplinary book series presents the strategic vision on the future of Sudan after the war. In doing so, the series aims to present a clear roadmap to achieve sustainable peace and rebuild Sudan in a way that ensures dignity and prosperity for its people. The series also includes selection of the best papers presented during the various Diaspora International Conferences held face-to-face and online after the war. The chapters in the book provide details of how to ensure relevant Diaspora groups are involved in the re-building and development of Sudan after the war.
