Abstract

Post-war reconstruction in Sudan requires a strategic shift from emergency aid to sustainable development. This approach emphasizes transparency, efficiency, and long-term community empowerment. The strategy includes creating a national aid distribution system that uses technology for transparency, transitioning to sustainable development, and empowering local communities through vocational training and small business support. International partnerships, especially with the Sudanese diaspora, play a critical role in the rebuilding process. The strategy also integrates environmental sustainability by promoting renewable energy and sustainable agriculture, aligning with the United Nations’ Agenda 2030.

Objectives: key objectives include:

  • Developing transparent aid distribution mechanisms.
  • Transitioning from relief to sustainable development with a focus on economic empowerment.
  • Strengthening international cooperation for reconstruction.
  • Incorporating environmentally sustainable solutions.
  • Proposing effective monitoring for long-term impact.

Methodology: The study uses data analysis, comparative case studies, field surveys, and policy analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for Sudan’s reconstruction.
