Abstract: Information and Communications Technology (ICT) plays a crucial role in post-war nations' reconstruction and sustainable development. In the context of Sudan, ICT has the potential to tackle significant challenges by enhancing digital infrastructure, supporting economic growth, improving social services, and promoting good governance. This study examines the transformative impact of ICT on rebuilding Sudan, offering a comprehensive analysis of its contributions to development and recovery efforts. The research examines using ICT to modernize essential sectors, including education, healthcare, and public administration. It highlights how digital tools can promote inclusion and bridge socioeconomic divides. The potential benefits of ICT encompass optimized resource allocation, enhanced government transparency, and the facilitation of data-driven policymaking. Special emphasis is placed on challenges such as limited connectivity, low digital literacy, and regulatory barriers that may obstruct the adoption and implementation of ICT. To address these challenges, the study proposes actionable strategies, including investment in digital infrastructure, development of ICT training programs, and collaboration with international technology partners. By leveraging ICT to improve service delivery and governance, Sudan can accelerate its transition from conflict to stability and long-term sustainability. The findings provide actionable recommendations for policymakers, development practitioners, and industry leaders to maximize the role of ICT in Sudan's post-war recovery and foster resilience in a rapidly digitizing world. By highlighting both the potential and challenges of ICT, this research contributes to the discourse on sustainable development and positions Sudan as a case study for effectively leveraging technology to rebuild regions affected by war. It emphasizes the importance of integrating ICT into national development strategies to achieve inclusive growth and sustainability progress.
