Abstract: The main research problem which will be addressed in the chapter is the destruction of infrastructure in Sudan during the ongoing war. It is obviously, the reconstruction for any future of Sudan post the war requires a lot of money and sources and attracting foreign direct investment is therefore one of the key factors. The chapter will therefore investigate the critical role of investment after the war in the implementation of many development projects. In doing so, the research will will adopt few hypotheses: first the attraction of Sudan's vast natural resources and secondly the availability of foreign direct investment post-war reconstruction and infrastructure of projects. The research will adopt a historical approach (descriptive and analytical) to reach the findings relating to the attractiveness of Sudan's natural resources for foreign direct investment to contribute to the reconstruction of Sudan post the war.
