This study aims to evaluate the determinants of technological readiness, behavioral intentions towards AI adoption, and the perceived constraints in adopting AI technologies. By identifying these factors, the research seeks to develop strategic solutions to facilitate the effective application of AI in agriculture. The research will employs a combination of primary and secondary data collection methods, including surveys and interviews with progressive farmers and experts. The outcomes of the study contributes to a deeper understanding of AI’s role in transforming agriculture in arid regions and provide valuable insights for policymakers, agricultural extension agencies, and farmers in the region. Ultimately, the research aims to bridge the gap between the emerging demand for AI in agriculture and the readiness of farmers to adopt these technologies, thus fostering sustainable farming practices in the arid thar desert.
