Abstract

This study analyzes how households dependent on remittance income in Feni district can be transformed into sustainable entrepreneurs through artificial intelligence (AI) and human-centered support. Data were collected through a mixed-methods approach, survey, and key informant interview (KII). The results show that remittances are mainly used for consumption, but there is limited productive investment. AI-based digital finance, market intelligence, and business planning tools can be helpful in decision-making and entrepreneurship development. However, human support is essential for building trust and behavioral change. Therefore, an integrated model of AI and humanitarian support is most effective. The findings of this study provide valuable direction for policymakers and development practitioners, supporting efforts to promote sustainable livelihoods and advance the achievement of SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
