Purpose

This study investigates the interrelated impacts of environmental pressure and artificial intelligence (AI) integration on workforce sustainability and organizational adaptability.

Design/Methodology/Approach

A cross-sectional survey of 272 HR professionals and leaders in Kuwait was conducted, and structural equation modeling (SEM) in JAMOVI was used to test direct and mediating effects among the constructs.

Findings

AI integration (β = .492, p < .001) and environmental pressure (β = .265, p < .001) significantly influenced organizational adaptability. Workforce sustainability strongly mediated these relationships.

Original/Value of the Paper

This study contributes novel insights on dual disruption adaptation in HR systems within Gulf contexts, offering an empirically validated resilience framework. Research Limitations and Implications: The study's limitations include its geographic specificity and cross-sectional design.
