Managing Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future – World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD)

The 2008 edition of World Sustainable Development Outlook includes a selection of the best papers presented during the WASD’s 6th International Conference held in at Sussex University, Brighton, UK. This volume explores global viewpoints on the role of science and technology in solving global problems related to sustainability. The aim is to address growing concerns for the future of our interlocked ecological, political and economic systems in a highly populated world that is characterised by major social and economic disparities. The papers presented in this volume cover a wide geographical spectrum and different research areas.
