The United Kingdom’s (UK) first Voluntary National Review (VNR) 2019 presents the country’s progress towards implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The review highlights the UK’s commitment to delivering the Goals both domestically and internationally through collaboration between government, devolved administrations, civil society, businesses and local communities. It outlines achievements, ongoing challenges and future priorities, while reaffirming the UK’s commitment to the principle of “Leave No One Behind”.
