Purpose: This chapter critically examines the systemic inefficiencies in Sudan's education system and proposes a comprehensive framework for reimagining education as a driver of sustainable development.

Design: The study draws on international best practices, such as Australia’s Technical and Further Education (TAFE) system and India’s Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) models, to develop a localized implementation strategy tailored to Sudan's socio-economic realities.

Findings: The key recommendations include fostering industry-academia partnerships, prioritizing technical and vocational education, developing localized curricula, and establishing dual certification pathways for global recognition.

Value: The anticipated outcomes of these reforms include a technically skilled workforce, economic diversification, agricultural modernization, and enhanced global competitiveness, contributing to the achievement of relevant Sustainable Development Goals.
