Abstract: The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a global framework for addressing critical societal challenges, yet measuring progress remains complex. This presentation examines how Elsevier, not as a publisher, but in its capacity as a global information analytics company, supports academic institutions, governments, and funders in aligning with and tracking SDG-related strategies. Through solutions such as Scopus, SciVal, Pure, and Analytical Data Services, Elsevier enables evidence-based insights into research outputs, collaborations, and funding trends linked to the SDGs. Drawing on a case study comparing SDG-related publications and funding patterns between lower-income and higher-income countries, the presentation will illustrate how data-driven approaches can inform policy, foster equitable research partnerships, and accelerate progress towards global goals. By highlighting Elsevier’s commitment to thought leadership and technological innovation, this session demonstrates the value of integrated analytics in advancing sustainable development and empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions.
