This paper explores how digital technologies are changing our societies and the world of work, and the role that educators should play in equipping learners with the skills and knowledge they are going to need to succeed in their future careers. Ethics, innovation, adaptability and resilience are the fundamental building blocks that our students need for their future. The development of educators has to embrace the evolving digital landscape, and ensure that emerging technologies such as Agentic Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models are not only well understood, but critically incorporated into academic practice. The session will offer practical insights into how to embrace digital transformation in education, and how new models of delivery and international collaboration can be utilised to shape an enhanced future for our students.
