Orientation: This study aligns with global agendas like the UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasising creative, team-driven approaches to address complex issues. It aims to bridge empirical gaps, provide practical tools for enhancing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and support societal goals in an interconnected world.
Purpose: The study examines how a creative organisational climate enhances CSR outcomes (social and environmental), mediated by team-based learning, across sectors. Through comparative analysis, it explores sector-specific dynamics influencing creative climates, collaborative learning, and effective CSR, contributing to theoretical and practical sustainable business strategies.
Research Approach/Design and Method: Employing an empirical, cross-sectional design with quantitative methods, the study sampled 1877 participants (959 private, 918 public sector).
Main Findings: A creative organisational climate and team-based learning significantly influence perceived CSR contributions, with team-based learning mediating over 50% of the effect. Stronger relationships in the private sector reflect its flexible, agile environment compared to the public sector’s bureaucratic nature.
