Summary
Egypt submitted its Fourth Voluntary National Review (VNR) in July 2025 to the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) under the theme "Advancing sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), leaving no one behind." The VNR presents Egypt's progress in implementing the UN Agenda 2030 and its 17 SDGs by integrating the SDGs into the national development framework, particularly Egypt Vision 2030. The report highlights achievements, challenges and lessons learned, while emphasising whole-of-government and whole-of-society approaches, evidence-based policymaking, digital transformation, social protection, climate resilience and international partnerships to accelerate sustainable development.
