This chapter explores how human capacity development can serve as the foundation for Sudan's sustainable post-war reconstruction, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Design: This chapter analyzes the impact of war on Sudan's human capital, governance, and economy and proposes a sustainable framework for rebuilding education, workforce skills, and institutional structures.
Key strategies include investing in green economy education, sustainable employment creation, governance reforms, and sector-specific innovations in healthcare, agriculture, and renewable energy sectors. Leveraging international cooperation and diaspora engagement can accelerate this progress.
By integrating technical and vocational education, green job creation, and institutional strengthening, Sudan can rebuild its workforce and foster climate-resilient economic growth, transitioning from crisis to long-term stability and prosperity.
