Abstract: This paper examines Sudan's post-conflict reconstruction, drawing lessons from global experiences. Successful cases like Rwanda, Bosnia, and South Africa emphasize community engagement, sustainable infrastructure, and inclusive development. In contrast, failures in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria highlight the risks of poor planning, lack of local involvement, and corruption. Effective project management is crucial for ensuring efficient resource allocation, meeting timelines, and mitigating risks. The study proposes strategic guidelines for Sudan, focusing on early political cohesion, service restoration, and resource management to prevent economic stagnation. Key to Sudan’s recovery will be collaboration between international and local stakeholders, with an emphasis on culturally sensitive, community-driven projects. Transparent governance, anti-corruption measures, and security strategies are essential for successful reconstruction. The research provides a framework for post-conflict recovery and practical lessons from other nations. The paper concludes with a proposed reconstruction plan, advocating for a Sudan Reconstruction Fund and an international conference to mobilize resources.
